About

Established in May 2013, we are one of very few job-sites to specialise in advertising town planning job vacancies. Our site is run by fully qualified planners, who are proud of planning. Our aim is to lower the costs associated with advertising town planning jobs, so that the process is much more inclusive.

We currently work with over 80 organisations, advertising town planning jobs for: –

  1. Private sector companies (small and multinational)
  2. Public-sector bodies
  3. Recruitment consultancies
  4. Universities and
  5. Charities (see clients)

We receive over 40,000 website views per month and have a loyal social network following of over 7000 relevant individuals, businesses, agencies and other organisations. Our largest network is on Twitter – @TownPlanningUK.

Job-seekers can create an online profile for recruiters to find, then upload a CV, connect their LinkedIn, register for email updates and apply for jobs. Whilst employers and recruiters have a sophisticated back-end system for uploading job adverts and communicating with potential candidates.

Our service is extremely affordable. For example, a single advert is only £59, which is up to 16 times cheaper than other job-sites. All of our packages include unlimited job adverts. If you are a recruitment consultancy, it can work out as cheap as £5 per advert, if you choose one of our packages.

Town Planning Trends

Over the last few years, there has been a shortage of town planning jobs, around the world, due to government funding cuts and a slowdown in the construction sector.

This trend is no longer continuing.

The town planning job sector can only get larger, as global population is rising, cities are expanding, pollution is increasing, green space is declining and coastlines are receeding. Urban areas, in particular, need continual transformation to provide adequate infrastructure and amenities for inhabitants.

There are thousands upon thousands of town planning jobs out there (private companies, MNCs, councils, quangos, voluntary etc). You just need to know where to look and ensure that you have provided yourself with as much experience as possible, even if it means volunteering your services. Our site makes the whole process easier.

Search and apply for jobs, upload your CV, create a profile, submit a job!
